MONTHLY TRAINING, OUTINGS & COMMUNITY NEWS
LATE SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2026 25 SEPT - 31 OCT
The October edition is out. The heat is starting to creep back in, Diesel has well and truly claimed his Strathalbyn walking routes, and there's been some really lovely stuff happening behind the scenes at AssistiveK9s — including a soft launch of a new project and a warm welcome to Clover and Freddie who've just joined the crew. On the outings side, the Labour Day long weekend is packed — Semaphore Music Festival runs across the whole four days, Oktoberfest in the Gardens is on the Saturday, and the Showground Farmers Market is celebrating its 20th birthday. The Fleurieu Folk Festival turns 20 this year too, running 9–11 October in Willunga. OzAsia kicks off at the Festival Centre from the 9th and runs nearly four weeks, which makes it one of the more useful prolonged training environments of the season. There are also four new dog-permitted hikes, fresh exposure locations from McLaren Vale to Tea Tree Plaza, and five new dog-friendly spots across the Hills, Barossa and inner Adelaide. Everything verified before publishing — double-check before you head out.
